Breaks Squeaking Already??
I have a 2010 SS Camaro that only has 12,000 miles on it and the brakes are already squeaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What could be the problem??? It has low miles, surely it doesnt need new brake pads already!!!??? HELP!!!

I don't know....mine has just under 3k miles and my brakes squeak here and there.
If you have Brembos, it is probably just the normal squeaking you are hearing. |

Seems Brembos are prone to it because of the pad material. Do a search on brakes using the advance search function and search thread titles. You should find several threads on this.

Switch out to some Hawks 700 degree pads and never look back.

there are many things that make brakes squeal, none of them are serious.

My brakes were making noise at 14k, took to dealer and they replaced the pads and have had no problem since. They replaced the front and had to order the rear, still made noise until after they changed the rear. Done under warrantee, so no cost.

Before you go spending money trying to fix something that may not be a problem, bed the brakes. Do this first and if you still have issues then look into replacing them. Mine will squeak occasionally but after doing this it goes away for a few months.
