[QUOTE=casvg5;5282257]Ok! I cant really explain how excited I am right now. Just booked my appointment with ADM in dallas. Taking my car up there tomorrow morning and dropping her off and flying back.

So whats going in? LSX376, a gt9 cam, and the 1.9 blower. Should be a completely different car when I get it back.

As of right now the modifications to the car are very light. CAI, 1 7/8" LT headers, and full 3" cat-less exhaust. Car made a 410whp pull back home in missouri last time it was tuned. ADM is aming for 600-650 to the wheels when all of this is said and done.

Hopefully, as I wont be there, Andy will do some before and after dyno videos, and also give me some sheets to post up on here.

Tell me how you like the LSX376 when you get it, i have a 2.3 blower and am deffinatly interested in that engine.

Got it. Didn't know you were going that aggressive.

I see youre in Texas. I just want to say, thus far Andy has been awesome. I drove my car to Dallas and was taken to the airport to fly home. His shop is very clean, and the few cars I got to look at under the hood are sharp. Everything is tidy, wires run like they should be, etc. His price on my job wasnt even close to being beaten by anyone around here, so if you are wanting an LSX, id say hit Andy up and see what he can do for you.

I went with the LSX because im paranoid of blowing something. I live alone in Houston, and its a new town to me, im 1000 miles from "home" and if I blew my car up I'd be sh*t out of luck. The little extra money for the swap puts all of that to rest. The LSX will stand up to 2000+ hp, so me ripping it apart with a little extra boost is of no concern. I know two guys back home that have blown holes in an LS3 under 600hp, and I just cant risk that.

i miss my car. Rode home today on the motorcycle in a monsoon.

I may have missed something here- were you deciding between forging stock engine and forging lsx? And went with lsx because you plan on jacking up the boost/hp in the future? My engine (was stock) was forged, etc and is at 11 lbs of boost, 650 HP and guaranteed to be rock solid- no where near being stressed.

Either way, you can't go wrong with ADM.

I'd be careful what you say, there are NO guarantees. According to everything I have been told, you are encroaching on some trouble possibly. Some guys have 550 and blow motors, some guys have 800 in a stock block with no trouble. Not A risk I'm willing to take, plus for the price is a LSX and the core refund, it almost doesn't make sense to stuff forged components into an LS3. The LSX is priced cheap in my opinion for what you get.
