Paint Wear on Inside of Trunk

Anyone experiencing trunk paint wear on the inside of the trunk?

I am very gentle with the trunk lid, but it seems abnormally bad. No one can see it but me but I dont want rust to set in.

No I don't have any wear like that and I dry the inside of the trunk area every time I wash it so I would notice. You should see if the dealer will do anything for you as that does not look normal

Back up a little and snap a pix. It's hard to see where those marks are on the car.
Tnx.

It looks like something is rubbing in those spots when you close the trunk maybe. I have not seen that on mine or any other Camaros I have been around.

This was happening to mine check your gap between the lid and bumper I had to bend mine back out for some reason it got pushed in Sucks about your paint tho. But you don't have to worry about rust cause that's plastic

I apologize for the dissatisfaction in your vehicle's paint. Have you taken it to the dealership for them to look at? Please let us know if this is an available option to you!

It seems like your trunk lid is out of alignment. Time for a trip to your dealer. Good luck

Turns out the bumper center compression fastener was missing, the bumper bowed out and came in contact with the trunk lid. This was due to the fact that the bumper arrived from the factory damaged and they were forced to straighten it but did not reinstall it properly. Just a heads up for future issues with other owners.
