Oil pump gears!

I have a TVS2300 and I am switching to a 3.5 pulley and shooting for 11psi.

One of my friends has a a mustang 5.0 with a whipple, he is pushing 13psi and he had to change out his oil pump gears. His tuner said the stock ones won't last under that much HP.

I was wondering if the LS3 would have the same problems that the 5.0 had with the oil pump gears before I do it? Will the stock ones last?
