Thanks for the info Tulkas -

Interesting. Your gains are impressive for the LY7 - picking up 30 rwkw. Granted I didn't check conversion rates but doing a simple calc of 252 (rwhp Tracy recorded) / 137 (your baseline rwkw) = 1.83 and 1.83 x 30 = 54.9 rwhp gain - which I think is a bit overly optimistic - granted this is not taking in to account the differences between dynos / tunes, etc. I can speculate all I want to but until the new cams are in and dyno'd...

If we end up with a 45hp gain - I think Tracy and Steve will be very busy... and I will be very busy cruising...

** I did find the conversion factor - rwkw * 1.34 = rwhp.
Tulkas baseline of 137 rwkw = 183.58 rwhp
Cam gain of 30 rwkw = 40.2 rwhp

I found a 2nd hand intake manifold from an LLT engine and I'm going to make a bracket so it can fit on my LY7 because the LY7 intake manifold has that stupid plenum spacer in it and it restricts the whole engine... It should give me an adequate amount of kw just by changing it. Next project in the next few weeks.

I think the tune that I got is the one that Vince made from your car lol!!!

There was talk about the CNCs by Brodix with a second boss for a 2nd fuel pump. If that doesn't work out will rework my heads / meth kit.
Whats the Pricing for the Cam?

Is Yellow_Glide THE ONLY one that bought these?

I thought there were more that jumped on these but I've been out for a while...

Four others I know of - search for the Mace cam club thread. Since we made changes they are holding on their installs.

As soon as FedEx delivers the new cams we'll have numbers.

Oh and we have to install them too

The cams just arrived. We'll be back on YG's car ASAP !

Dyno arrives in another week or so so we are hoping to do the rest of the testing in-house here in controlled conditions.

Im picking up the manifold on Monday so I take some pics then.

But if you want in the mean time try looking up the LY7 engine specs and it will tell you about the plenum spacer in it and then lookup the LLT one.

For the rest of the guys in the past day or two asking about cam gains, i have been talking about cam and tune figures which gave my car 30rwkw.As soon as i get my hands on the dyno graphs ill post them
