The shop built a car they were paid too! If a customer walks in with the $$ and says I want this done then you think they should turn away the chance to make $$ because it doesn't set well with C5??

Who cares is their car, they can do whatever they want.

Why would they replace the supercharger. Take a look at one of the pictures , it shows the supercharger to be polish
