Finally, I can give a review.
Alright, so where to begin?
1. Looks...we all know about the looks. This car is seck-see! (BTW, first day I had it...it caused an accident. I was stopped at a light...and the right hand lane was for right hand turns. The truck next to me was rolling forward, and I literally watched him (as he was looking at the car) bump into the car in front of him. Very minor but I was cracking up). Today is actually the first day I've seen it in the sun...and it's even MORE incredible! IOM is getting rave reviews from everybody. At least 4 people have asked me if this color came on the car from the factory or if I had it painted custom. I had never seen IOM in person until the day it arrived at the dealership. I was very worried because so many people seemed to dislike it. I will go so far as to say that I love this so much more than Hugger Orange. 2. Performance Due to the break-in period, I still haven't really got on it. I will say that it seems to WANT me to get on it though It handles curves amazingly for the size of it. Bravo on all accounts! 3. Visibility Ok, I'm not going to be biased about this. The only problem I have had visibility-wise is on the driver's side blind spot. Believe it or not that little rear window is at a perfect angle and helps. Backing up is a pain...because you can't really tell how close you are to things. Using the mirrors is no problem and visibility out of the front is no problem (even with that "huge" mirror!). I'd love to stay and write some more...but frankly (an no offense)...I'd rather be out driving Which is where I'm heading now! I'll get some pics up on Monday...for some reason I can't get them off my camera at home so I'll get them on my work computer.

I drove a LT1 this week at the dealer when I ordered my SS. Even as a v/6 it was a blast to drive. The first thing I addressed was visability. This car had the window sticker still on the right front of the windshield. I moved the Mirror up to the roof as far as it would go which improved front visability. I'm 6.0 ft and found the view all around limited so the driver of a Camaro will have to be alert at all times. The windshield on my Impala appers to be 3 times larger than the Camaro. The car is responsive and very solid and quiet. I did miss the rumble of the SS exhaust on a coulpe of dealers SS models I started up. After a 15 minute test drive I know I made the right choice ordering a new Camaro: 2SS/RS summit white, IO interior, sunroof, 20 " polished. now I hope I'm ready for the long wait.

Backing is tense. :(
Seeing under the rear view mirror thing was an issue for me at 6" tall. I removed the 2 snap-on mirror stem covers, unplugged the cable and rotated the rear view mirror upside down. You can plug the cable back in after that. Now I can see a bit better. The On Star buttons are now on top and the visibility is better under the mirror. Here is a tip - If you accidenaly hit the "OnStar" button, don't just try to just cancell the call without speaking to them. That will only cause them to keep calling you back over and over untill you answer them and cancell the the "emergency". They get a little ticked if you don't answer. -Mark |

Ladiesman, I was asked yesterday how much my paint job cost. I told them I don't know it was factored in with the price of the car. "oh what dealer painted it?" "thats factory??!!"

It's crazy! I actually can't believe some people don't like it. From pics it's not "WOW" but I'm baffled by the people that have seen it in person and don't like it.
