not knocking the V6, I drive one now, but I personally like the V8's better. Both have plenty of power, notice I let the plant engineer here at work know that it has plenty of power for a V6 even thou he thought it was a V8.

And honestly, wouldn't Avis and the others put in their order as soon as possible? Who's to say they didn't also order in October with the rest of us.

Disclaimer: I haven't done any research on this, it just makes sense to me.

WRONG... most are V6 but there are some V8. I almost rented one a few weeks ago. All were 1LT models for $170 a day after taxes. I wanted it for the weekend but it was too pricey for just a 1LT.

V8 top speed is listed at 155
V6 top speed is listed at 118 YIKES! My beater commuter Civic will do that!

these come from the dealer training manual I have on the car. My dealer gave me one yesterday! What a nice guy.

Only if it has 18" wheels. If it has 20" wheels, it's 155 mph, same as the V8.

you will not regret the V6...no one but the Camaro enthusiasts knows whether our cars are a 6 or an 8...and we get a better insurance rates and use regular gas and get better gas mileage......

people, we should respect each other's choices!!!...

You will not be disappointed, trust me...when you "put the pedal to the metal", you are thrust back in your seat like you're "taking off in a ROCKETSHIP"!!!!!!!...
Let me know your opinion compared to mine when you do take delivery and get to drive your car, ok?...thanks!...
