Besides the fact that I've never been able to feed a full clip without 4-5 failures. ProMag is just pure unreliable junk.

I will broaden the question. Do you like after market mags or do you prefer OEM mags.

If you like after market mags, what brand do you prefer for rifles?
I love aftermarket mags because generally speaking they are cheaper then OEM, you just have to know which companies to avoid and which ones are good. I have a list saved of good and bad mags for the AR that I've put together over the years based on my experience and from my friends experiences. I'll pm you the list so you can print it out.

I am curious to see that list Mr_Draco. I have used a lot of diff mags that are out there and would love to see what you think. I assume that you have put reasons for each....

EDIT: I will add this so you don't take it like I am calling one out. I personally do not like P-Mags for a couple reasons. 1) I think that they are to tight. With the smallest amounts of dirt, they begin to have problems feeding. 2) I personally like a heavier magazine for non-tactical reloads. The P-Mag is just to light in most lower receivers. I like being able to hit the release and the mag is out. I have worked around this by giving the rifle a quick flick to get the mag out but ultimately I went back to a heavier magazine.

I agree with you somewhat on the Pmags. I use them mostly for bench and prone shooting. I've yet to find a polymer mag that will load 25-30 rounds without bulging so I just use them when I'm just plinking and typically only load 10 rounds. I don't use them when I'm doing a shot and run or some other shooting where quick reloads are desirable because as you said they are too light and too tight in most guns. Metal mags are more desirable in this aspect as they fall right out without you having to pull them out. PMags are still good mags but cause they are polymer they do have their drawbacks.

The one in the picture is a Remington model 1900 12ga.bought for $175 we cut the barrel down to 18" so it could be put in the trunk or in the passenger floor very easily. The leather holster it's going to be riding in will have the words "Trunk Monkey" embossed on it.

Now the best part about this piece is that it's not really considered a modern firearm since it uses black powder cartridges (which are readily available), It’s considered a curio or relic to the ATF. I know it sounds crazy but my local sheriff and my gun smith both tell me the same thing.
