Any dealer, need your advice on deappreciation value after accident?

BeckyD or any dealership I have a question for you. What would be the deappreciation value for a ZL1 that has been rear ended. Damage was about $850.

Looking for an approx figure that you would take off if someone traded a 2012 ZL1 in.

Nope and nope. I was however rear ended, almost a month ago. I'm keeping it, unless the 2014 just makes my eyes water. Lol. I'll most likely wait until the 6th Gen, or just keep the ZL1. Rather have the first model year of the ZL1 of the last.

Reason why I'm asking about the deappreciation value is because insurance companies pay out a respectable figure. It wasn't my fault. He was drunk and rear ended me at a stop light.

That might be the cost of the damage, or there might be more underneath. It really comes down to an appraisal in person to determine if there's any possibility of future issues. Also, the quality of the repair work plays into the valuation.

The only damage was cosmetic and the quality of work was done from a Chevrolet bodyshop but no quality is better than from the factory. I was thinking of the cost of the damage though, which was only $850. I think thats fair to ask for, they'll most likely counteroffer that.

check VA law on diminished value. I live in MD and just went through this process. To give you an idea, there ws 9,400 in damage to my 2012 charger, After two months ging back and fourth I ended up with a check for 2,500 minus 300 for my own appriaser to work my numbers.

The INS company offered me 1,100 at first. I told them to pound sand. Long story short I ended up with a decent amount. However it was a pain in the ass and i would have perfered closer to 4k, thats real world. So I got the check and traded it in for a Camaro and used the 2,500 as a down payment
