In the trunk under the floor mat. It's inside the spare tire well.

Took me awhile to find it the first time. Used the useless manual which would bring me to page x and tell me to go to page y and then tell my to go to page z and then back to page x....manual= completely useless

This is funny. I say that because about 9 months ago I said the same thing. Where is the battery? I even had the mat up and the cover off the spare tire well and still couldn't see it. Mine has the spare tire option and I could not see it until I shined a flashlight on it. And yes the manual, what a joke, just as mentioned above. Page 10-35 See Engine Compartment Overview on page 10‑6 for battery location. 10-6 shows a picture of engine compartment with J. Remote Positive (+) Terminal. See Battery on page 10‑35. Either GM had a sense of humor when it come to that one or they had there head up the back side and I am leaning towards the latter.
