I've been told to keep a full tank of gas so moisture won't build up in the tank?

Not in 4 weeks. Stored properly its good for about 3 months. With fuel stabilizer it can last longer.

Unhook positive battery cable or you'll be coming back to a dead battery.

Fill the tank up.

Sure if you have something oulling a load on the battery. Many people leave their vehicles in storage all winter with no problem.

1) My 2010 went dead in 3 weeks sitting in my garage in the summer it's first year. Bone stock. Onstar and XM pinging it are a draw.

2) I've heard some pretty reputable members of this forum talking about a BCM and some other insanely expensive piece of electronics going bad when sitting with no power for 4-5 days. I would not pull the cable. I can't imagine GM designing anything that does $1500 damage if the battery goes dead in winter storage but what do I know. Not worth the risk. Put a tender on it for $20 and forget about it.

I store my SS for 6-7 months in the winter and I do nothing to it other than fill it up with gas. No trickle charger, no putting it up on blocks, etc. It starts up like I dropped it off the day before. So to answer your question, don't bother doing anything. How long do cars sit on a car lot not being used and they start up just fine?

....or get a Battery Tender. Best $40 you'll ever spend.

...and add some Sta-bil to your tank and drive around for about 10 min before you park it.

Is there something specific that I need to do? The car is standing in a cold garage (can get down to 0 degrees celcius).

Or do I just need to lock it and leave it as is?

Cheers!
When you get back, just change the air in the tires, you will then be good to go.
