The 2014 1le's just look a lot "meaner".

Im in the same boat as you. First new car purchase, and cant decide between the two
...
Get the 14. I feel you can't go wrong. I couldn't decide for the longest. Then I realized the more pics of the 14 I seen, the more I liked it. Once the 1LE photos came out, it was no brainer for me.

atleast if you order your car you get to pick out exactly what you want..... my selling point of the 2014 was the blue accent interior... 2013 didnt have it so i got the 2014.. worse feeling in the world is to buy now and then the new model comes out and you seen something you should have gotten... your gonna have it awhile you might as well love it...

Your not gonna get anywhere near that for a 14....they will actually see a price increase. I just picked up my 13 2 weeks ago, and have NO regrets. I couldnt be happier.

That being stated, when you get your car, just immediately order some rock guards for the front wheels, there are some on here somewhere, and consider clear bra down the sides. And that advice should probably go for every color with those 285's up front
I'm going to assume that those are the same as splashguards? And do you know if gm has those because i forgot to mention that they were offering me $750 worth of gm accessories via coupons

The car was/is exactly how I would order it, unless the recaro seats are that amazing... only decision really was white or black... and just to be clear there will be no medium blue for 2014 right?

I think the deal is good too, and you probably will not find such a deal again, until the redesign of the Camaro.

BUT... you said you think the 2014 looks Meaner. That's exactly how I felt about the 2SS/RS when I purchased my 1LT.

So here it is 18 months later and I just traded in my 2012 1LT for a 2013 2SS/RS. I like the 2014 too, but there is one mod I really want, the afterburner tail lights that really LOOK like afterburners like they had on the concept camaro, and I will never be able to get that look with the 2014, so I jumped on the last chance to get what I want.

I'm thinking go with your desire for the Meaner looking 2014 in a few months, pay the stinking $10K higher price, but get the car you REALLY want. You will be happier in the end.

yes no medium blue... if it is what you want then get it... you will get a better price on it with the incentives currently offered.. plus when the 50 th anniversary edition comes out you could possibly be in a good position to trade it and order your car then... my selling point on the 2014 was this simple.... i needed a car in sept or oct... i wanted a camaro... all the 2013 wasnt trimed out the way i wanted they all had autos and navigation.. and none of the 2013 had the blue accent interior.. i was gonna by a 2013 until i saw the blue accent interior offered.. nobody knows how much or what it looks like.. but i got a small feeling its gonna be amazing... and i love the new front end look they could loose the chrome strip on the front but ill reserve judgment until i see it in person if all else fails ill tell the dealership to remove it... or leave it who knows... lol... good luck in buying this weekend and hope you have a great time enjoying your car...

i will say one other thing ordering a car is pretty cool cause from the time your order it till you get it here the anticipation of it is a wild emotion and then you top it off with an interior you havent seen and a price you know nothing about and its pretty nerve wrecking... but it is a fun experiance... looking forward in ordering the 50th anniversay edition...

Small world. Tell Jason that Ryan from FL that just purchased a 1LE from them told you to buy it! Let us know if you pull the trigger.
