Vitesse paddle shifters appear to be loose

Replaced my steering wheel paddle shifters with Vitesse paddle shifters. They are very cool, however, they seem to be a little loose. Is this normal? I noticed that the plastic pieces I removed had some kind of pad inside. I was wondering if the Vitesse need this padding also or are they OK a little loose like this. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Cheers,

Mj

I also have these paddles and love them... You might want to check the adjusting screw as that may take out some of the slack.

Mine came loose on one side, and it was the screw holding the assembly in place - only way to get to it is by taking out the airbag.

He's got a 2011 there is no adjustment screw on it, they just snap in. OP go to the dollar store got a few different size (thickness) shoe sole inserts (foam) cut it to fit the back of the paddles and it should feel much better. It'll keep it from flapping around. Vitesse really needs to get on the ball with this. I'd be embarrassed to sell them as they sit now.
