The '14 taillights are practically the definition of "69 retro." The '13 taillights are Corvette inspired.

Still Not Liking it. I hate the rear to my Core.
Oh well, Thanks GM for producing the 2011 Camaro SS. I will make sure I won't wreck it. Out going Camaro SS says looks says: Touch Me And I'll Kill You. 2014 Camaro SS looks says: Pet Me. NOT MEAN ENOUGH

When the ZL1 came out, people lined up to retrofit that beautiful front bumper/fascia. When the 2012 dash refresh came out, many started retrofitting it and still are. Instrument cluster refresh.. Same. These were all positive changes. I have a feeling you won't see much retrofitting of the '14 rear. Front maybe. That rear license plate cavern looks 10 years older than what it replaces. Although I'm generally OK with the taillights, not that they're an improvement, just different. The car will probably continue to sell well. It's just a fun car and still looks great overall. But IMO, sales will be despite much of the refresh, not because of it. |

They are teased that the 2014 Camaro will make their pre 2014 Camaros look old.
That is the summary of the whole story

I recently bought my 13 because I didn't like the refresh...just my opinion though...I'm sure many will prefer it over the older ones. This bashing does need to stop...its ridiculous.

Wait a couple of years for the "newness" of the '14s to wear off and it would be interesting to revisit this discussion. My take is the '10-'13 looks better as a street/personal car while the '14 styling will look more at home on the track as a 1LE or Z/28. The tail lights of the '14s look NASCAR to me. Right now if I were to purchase an SS or LT I would prefer the '13s, 1LE - a '14.
