Not good. Maybe you can call him and have him just drive it to Indy. You could hitch a ride with one of the I-74 crowd??? Something to think about.

I've thought about it. My wife is driving her Terrain to Indy (she was bored out of her mind with no where to go) so I'd drive with the small Camarovan we have coming from Decatur. I'll see if it's quicker...

edit: Its about an hour and a half shorter...

Where exactly is Tracy with you car now?

It really only takes 4 hours to get to southern GA from where Tracy is so I hate to say it but if they are going at this pace its going to be a while before they complete the almost 15 hours to Indy.

That is what is all comes down to. With emphasis on the word "exactly" anyone that has that much responsibility to deliver a car to someone, should provide precise updates on time, location and so forth.

I sincerely hope I am wrong and things work out exactly as you want them to. The waiting part is agonizing. Been there before.

Well I got some good news from Tracy. He called and said it's running strong and haven't had any other problems. They are going to the host hotel instead, so that cut almost 5 hours off the time, between coming to IL and then me driving to Indy. So it will be there when I arrive at 3:30ish today.
