I had them start the car up while they had my cherry bombs cut off to realign them for quad tips, and even with a magnaflow resonated x pipe it still sounded too ricey for me.

What really counts is how it sounds going down the road and trust us when we tell you that a simple muffler delete using stock pipes on the V6 just makes you look bad. Too high pitched, too loud, too raspy, and the car sounds like its constantly laboring to get going.

Now, you can still get away with a decent sounding exhaust for not much more money. Throw a magnaflow resonated X pipe (muffler) in place of the stock H pipe, and that alone on top of a muffler delete makes a big difference. Now that...I can recommend if you are wanting to stay cheap.

This pretty much sums up my opinion

Custom muffler delete, resonator delete, and stock H pipe delete. Magnaflow resonated X pipe put in place of H pipe and 3in pipe ran to the back of the car with 3 1/2 Inch tips.

I have the Pypes loudmouth axle back for the ss on my v6 basically straight piped with 4.5'' resonated 12'' long tips. I like it a lot, it does get raspy up higher. But I have people of all kinds complimenting me on it everyday Its unreal. Curiousity is killing me though I think im going to run a dynomax resonated x pipe and see if that cleans up the rasp in the higher rpms! I drive 50 miles to work a day highway and I seriously have no complaints at all. no drone and sounds WICKED.

Not Jacking the a old thread or anything but, I did try to record it on my phone and it didn't do any good at all. What is good for recording the sound that will actually capture the bass and real life of the actual sound?
