Just learned that they finally got rid of the extra holes in the dash behind the panels. :( You will have to drill small holes in 2013+ cars for the LED's to pass through for the dash ABL.

Can the dash and door panel lights be added to 1LT's or would I have to first buy new dash and door panels that originally had the lights on them?

I wasn't sure if you knew of a way to make it work or not. I'll have to figure something out eventually. Thanks

Hello sjmautoprod,

I just had my el wire burn up in sections after only in use for less then a month. I have sanded behind the door panels to extend to the dash so i know what the piping looks like. I have done my dash exactly like the OP on the el wire, i also have my setup with no holes drilled.

Im wanting to know what you would recommend to use to match the setup with the el wire but with your product. Rigid or flex? The no drill you said doesn't go all the way to end? Like how far from the end does it stop? Also is there instructions, guidelines?

I think im going to just switch now that i have to do maintenance already.

35" rigid light pipe

IMO the rigid 35" light pipe is the best. It has weird marks on the back that keep the light from dimming as it gets further down.

Edit: The pictures are poop because I was using the facetime camera on my iphone. I'll hop in the backseat later and take them with the actual camera.
How are you guys installing these, ive read thru 8 pages so far. Are you gluing the pipes to the dash pieces or are the pipes just sitting in the dash and just pushing the dash pieces in?

We have a standard kit for the dash. No worries about choosing incorrectly!

These are made for the no-drill method and we do supply illustrated instructions.

Glad to see you made it over here. Keep me posted on how it works out. I might be considering this in the future.
