All Weather Tires
Planing a trip 1800 miles (one way) to FL this December. CO , NM, TX and over. P-Zeros are a hazard in frost, cold, ice and snow - for that matter anything under 40*F. Looking for some all season tires and want some advice from those that DRIVE IN SNOW BUT DON"T SELL TIRES. Have read thread sponsored by the Tire Rack. Don't really expect any snow but could drive over some through NM on way to TX. At this time have almost 19K on P-Zero's but they look like I'll get 24 to 25K before they're shot. Don't want the expensive mileage or seasonal changing involved with Scorpion tires.

I have the General G-max AS-03 all weather on mine. So far I have not had any traction problems in snow or cold weather.

I've put 23,000 miles on my General G-max AS-03. I can't say enough good things about them. They ride smooth, offer a lot of grip. They handle rain very well. They will work in the snow, but don't get throttle happy. When I have to get a new set ill get these same tires. My camaro is a daily driver so the all seasons were a must. They have exceeded my expectations.

Take a look at the Continental DWS. Just put 4 on my SS. Good tread wear rating and they are an all season tire. A lot less road noise too.

I don't recommend the General tires. Too noisy and I have had issues with their quality.
Been looking at the Toyo's myself to replace the Generals.

I saw the General G-Max tires on a used SS at the dealer and I just didn't like the way they looked on the car. When it's time to replace for me, I'm thinking of BF Goodrich Comp 2's or Cooper Zeon RS3-S.
