Best tires?
I am about to buy 20 inch tires for my 2012 convertible. What's the best tire? I don't take it to the track or anything like that. Just a street car. (I do like to have some fun and speed though )

Toyo Proxes 4 Plus from Tread Depot dot com, very fast shipping since they have a warehouse in Houston.

General GMAX AS-03's, they are still ultra high performance tires, but last LOTS longer than the Pirellis. I have had mine on for nearly a year and nearly 18000 miles and they still look new.

Best is different for each of us.
I am after grip in dry conditions and don't mind replacing tires every 12,000 - 15,000 miles. I just switched back to Pirelli PZero's because they perform well for me. With any summer tire, the TPM provides very useful information. I do not expect maximum performance from the tire until the pressure increases about 3 psi over the cold tire temperature pressure reading. If my car was used for all season driving or I wanted better tread wear, many have reported good experience with General GMAX or Nitto Motivo |

Continental Extreme Contact DWS is my recommendation, rated one of the best tires you can buy

I am officially recommending The Nitto Motivo's, just had them put on Friday, and I love them.

For best street performance I like the OE Pirellis or BFG Comp 2. If you are looking for comfort and cold weather traction the Conti DWS or General Gmax AS are top options.
