Well, I snapped the 3rd lense at the corner. This is on my girlfriends camaro, so I guess I'll just grab my 2nd set of tail lights and dremel those off later. Her car is the guinea pig, before I start on mine!

DOUBLE Afterburner Install!

Everyone, here are some pics from the double install I did this weekend. Silver one is mine and the Red Jewel my friend’s. I still have to get flicker sorted out and all hooked up and it was getting late last night so that’s postponed until later this week for now. Absolutely love the look of this kit. Thanks again Tony for developing this and getting the look right! Enjoy!

To make it a little easier to get the lamps out with two sets I decided to remove both the bumpers.

I decided to use a Dremel to open these up. I’m more used to that method from installing other types of “afterburners”.

Grinding out the inner lens welds. Of note on both sets I did, once I got the top two welds broke I was able to just pry the lens out and pop the bottom weld without having to grind it out.

A set of four with the light modules installed and drying.

Test fitting the diffusers.

Set of four with diffusers installed and drying.

Lights installed and bumper back on!

Side by side from a distance.

We are almost to the point of being able to come up with a price for complete kits. Need to first nail down some supplier issues that came up during this run.

Just be aware that a stock lamp MSRP is ~$100.
