What aftermarket amp do you have in the stock location

what amp are members using in place of the stock BA amp? and what did you have to purchase additonally to get it to fit? trying to figure out what are options I have with the least amount of work required. right now looking at a JL and alpine 400W models.

I would highly recommend the JL 700-5 with the Fark and mounting board from Subthumb!
I also got a Kicker sub from him for my 2013 ZL1 vert and I replaced all the speakers with JL's, it sounds amazing!

I think I am down to Alpine MRX V-70 or the PDX f4/PDX v9, if I can find one of the later two at a discount or on sale I might go that route and if not then V70. I know the MRX V70 isn't a perfect fit but it will work with a little adjustment. and I am familar with it since I know what it can do since I had one in my last camaro albeit mounted in a different location. Alpine is my favorite amp and Polk for speakers.

I had the PDX V70 in my 2011, it was real nice but the 300 watts wasnt enough power for my JL sub. The V9 is awesome, over 100 watts per channel rms and 500 watts to the sub

I don't know if the V70 will fit in the stock location. It's bigger that the V9 and the V9 is a perfect fit. It might, I'm not sure

there is a member on here that has it in the stock location, and while it's not a perfect fit it can be done. I think it has a slight angle to it and using the mounting board from sub thump. if it is still in stock in two weeks I might go for it but I am torn between what I am familar with (the V-70) and one that seems really popular and at an even better price (ppi 900.4).tough decision
