Is it not possible to have 4 20x9 wheels?

I was looking to replace my factory wheels (20x8 front and 20x9 rear) with a different set. But the set I'm looking at is only available in 20x9+. I want to use the original tires with this set and the guy I was talking to said the front tires would work on the 20x9 wheels but the rear tires wouldn't and that I'd need 20x10.5" wheels.

This just doesn't make any sense to me. Why would the tires that are already on a 20x9 not fit another 20x9? Can someone please explain this?

I've had 20x9 with 275 on all four corners for almost 2 years now. Absolutely no issues. I recommend doing it. Allows for tire rotation as well to squeeze a little more life out of the tires.

Thanks all! -____________- Glad I didn't just listen to him. So I'm looking at these wheels right now http://www.carid.com/motegi-racing-w...ck-860112.html

I think they have 2 different offsets for 20x9" (24mm and 38mm). Which one should I go with and why? Thanks again!

Get the +38mm.......the reason way......because if you put 24mm, it will make the wheels stick out further....not a good look. and the 38mm will fit fine. as mentioned by others in this thread, and I am one more that are running 20 x 9's all the way around and I'm running stock wheels, which are +40mm.....they fit great and there are no issues at all.

I have been running 20x9 with 275/40 on all corners for a couple of weeks for all season tires. The wheels I bought have a +40mm offset.

He was a friend of a friend who owns a wheels and tires store. I was hoping I wouldn't get screwed over but I'm glad I didn't believe him
