Thanks! Strategy and cautions didn't work in our favor last week but we had a good showing and got to run up front for a little.

As far as which I prefer I would have to say the TA2 car. Just being a purpose built race car makes it better for racing. It is lighter and has more power than the GS.R Camaro. The GS Camaro is a blast too though! The brakes and race ABS on that car are amazing and it was really fun running so close with some of the top drivers out there. And for comparison, in TA2 at Daytona I ran a 1:52 and even the fastest GS cars could only run 1:55's a few times.

But both are Camaros so you cant go wrong!

The Trans-Am are closer to the GT class in the past Rolex championship.

Here is some video from my stint in the Continental Tire race. Restarted 3rd on the same set of tires we started the race on and full of fuel so I had my hands full.

great footage. Is the Camaro down on HP or just a bad aero package? Cars were drafting and killing you everytime before turn 1. Looks like the car was more than capable even with tires going off. Thx for sharing

Just bad aero compared to the M3s and those other cars. Fact is the Camaro is the biggest car out there and has a flat front end. But at other tracks that aren't ovals and have straights that long the car will be great and competitive.

Car was strong, I think you may even have a little more brakes and steering than other cars and you had low end punch! Do they put a air restricter on you? No way a Cayman pulls that hard all the way around that track.

Hey everyone! Trans-Am season is starting back up and the first race is this weekend at Sebring followed by next weekend at Homestead. Make sure to come out as there should be 50+ cars for both races. Looking forward to an exciting season!
