Trans swap

Wanting to put a 700R4 back in a 92 Camaro. The car has a built 350 with a 350 turbo trans. The PO said the turbo trans is a short tail shaft trans. Would I have to get a different driveshaft for the 700R4? How hard would it also be to hook the detent cable back up with the 350 thats carbuerated?

Yes the 350 is shorter and should have a custom/aftermarket crossmember and an extended driveshaft. Shouldn't be a big deal to get a stock crossmember and driveshaft.

I'm not sure about the cable. Should hook up to the carb fine i would think.
