Clutch Stop

My clutch throw feels really long. The engagement point is almost at the very top of the pedals travel. It seems like it goes much further toward the floor than necessary.

In my previous manual car (1991 BMW 3 series), it had a (clutch stop) that the clutch pedal bumped against. That could be adjusted by putting a taller or shorter stop in there.

I was just driving my car today thinking about how I still haven't completely gotten the hang of starting off from a stop smoothly in this thing. I have let a couple other people drive it and they all talk about how weird the clutch feels.

I was just wondering if there was anything like the clutch stop that I could do to fix this. Would stopping the pedal before the bottom of its throw mess with the clutch engagement ignition sensor?

Car is completely stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can make an adjustable clutch stop yourself, but, to answer your question - no there isn't one available specifically for the 5th gen.

It can affect the engagement switch, if it were me I'd just not push the clutch in all the way.
