If your left side pass with the CAI would have launched as good as it did on the right side, you would have prob ran 12.50. Your mph also at the 1/8th and the 1/4 is better from the added hp from the CAI. I hope this thread wasn't insinuating that the stock CAI ran just as good as the aftermarket?

MPH= HORSEPOWER

The Spectre was performing well. If you could duplicate the 60' it would have killed the time you ran with the stock intake.

You're quicker at every timing light except the 1/4 light with the slip on the right. Are you sure you didn't lift too soon? Or did you have a headwind? Looking at two slips from different days, even different times in the same day, is like chasing ghosts. There are too many variables to try to draw a conclusion over a tenth or two.

Ya that's what I'm getting at...even with crappy cai it's still better than stock and they do make a difference

Exactly, he is "quicker" yes bc of his 60ft! This will translate all the way down the track as far as ET
BUT...he is slower all the way down the track compared to his CAI run on the left. Stock air box not putting down the same hp. And also depends just how "similar" the DA was. OP do you know the DA's of both days or is that statement a guess bc it felt about the same to you? DA can vary 500-1000ft and affect slips either ways!

You need to do a DA correction for both days and then compare. The mph difference will tell you how well the cai was working.
