GM installed belt incorrectly...

I don’t know what General Motors implements with regards to their QC but this ZL1 has 500 miles on it and is completely stock excluding a catch can. I know the LS9 is built here in the states while the LSA resides in Mexico. I was getting it detailed by http://www.delivery-detail.com/ and member davidcroft notified me of this. By the way, great detail crew.

This is making all sorts of contact on the lower snout and lower TB region.

The belts are definitely a little different than the pic because that has a power steering pump like a CTSv LSA.

The belts should be routed just like the picture of the engine. Instead of the power steering pump there is an idler pulley.

I was under the impression that all LSAs are made in Mexico.

Mexico and Canada are still north America even with NAFTA.

All GM official literature continue to state, "Sailo, Mexico"

It states "United States" or "Mexico"

Read the bottom right side of your window sticker and you will find out where your's was built.
