HAHA, Matt is back to his old self.

I think what he's saying is that the chrome car looked just like that BEFORE anything was put on it. The LSP just keeps it looking that way for a lot longer.

Looks far from crap, looks amazing. But using that in a misleading fashion to sell product is scummy.

That look came from the hours of polishing that occurred prior. You could've slapped any Walmart wax or sealant on that and it would have looked the same.

Btw.. Amazing results from the blackfire wet diamond, mothers clay, and duragloss wash. Very happy.

Matt is correct... your LSP is only a small part of the equation. Proper prep (decon and correction + polishing to bring out luster) is what is going to get you most of that look. An LSP will serve to enhance that further, but until the finish is prepped properly all the wax or sealant in the world isn't gonna do you much good.

Cleaner wax can help tho. It might seem odd but I have some of the best results with two coats of nxt, in terms of looks, touch, and overall ease of use.

If you want to go all out then buy a porter cable with an orange and black pad. I had good luck with clay, then wolfgangs swirl remover on both pads, and then wolf gangs deep gloss sealant. It's good to do after a year or two of only waxing, and the results were worth the time and effort. At least that worked on my nighthawk black pearl 2004 civic. I have yet to do anything except give my sister 40 bucks to wash/wax my Camaro.

Any pics after the detail?
