Just Curious, Will a Cam, Delete the Decel Popping, Burble Exhaust Sound?

I love the decel popping sound, and some of you don't so I don't want to debate this at all.
I also know how it can be tuned out, so my question is not this either.

My question is, will any cam grind upgrade delete this deceleration sound quality on my NPP equipped ride?

I'm just curious...thanks in advance!

Its in the fuel cutoff portion of the tune. Cam has zero to do with it.

Yes I know this......regarding fuel cutoff that is, and it can be tuned out.

The thing is, a few members on here have reported that after their cam installations, the popping decel sound vanished. This made me go hmmmmmm, hence my posting up this thread.

So you are saying that they are inaccurate in their reports? This is what I'm researching here.

No I'm saying the tuner turned it off. They got a tune and the tuner turned it off. The cam had nothing to do with it.

Don't know the specifics but most tuners will tune cammed cars for better manners so a lot of times the decel popping will be eliminated in favor of smooth deceleration. I can still get mine to pop if i decel from a lower gear in the upper rpms but it's not an everyday thing like it used to be before the cam.

My question is why does it come this way from the factory? Is it better to have the popping?

The popping is because they didn't bother to set the entry/exit spark timing properly in DFCO. You can have fully functional DFCO and no popping. ZR1 DFCO settings work great in our cars.

Cammed here...Mine used to do it before I swapped it out so I assume my tuner did that. I did love it but Im not mad without it. That cam lope more than makes up for it.
