2014 supercharger update
I sent a private messages to Chevrolet Customer Care. Here is what i asked and this is what they said . Hope it helps 2014 owner

I was only trying to pass on some new info to the 2014 Zl1 owners ...
I thought it may be helpful because no one really seemed to know on the forum. Thats why I called it an update. In the future I will not waste my time passing info on. |

Ok! Here you go. IF you have the marble rattling noise coming from your supercharger, GM will replace it. This is NOT a recall. It doesn't matter what year you have because GM has a standard 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty for all models. There is an extension on the warranty for the supercharger up to 2013 my. So either way your covered so don't worry about it. Mine is #708 of 2012 and to this day with over 20,000 miles and still has no rattling sound. But I am glade that they are doing something about it. But also at the same time wish they should do a recall since it can have catastrophic effects on the motor.
