Please moderators, look before you merge.

The recall thread is a total mess at this point. Now the second thread that should not have been dumped in there has been. Someone posted a joke thread about the recall in the appropraite off topic area and someone merged it with the recall thread I assume just based on the title without reading it, as clearly it is a joke. Those of us who would like to check on the latest news on the recall now have to pick our way through a wide variety of crap to try to find the information.

I fully understand the need to try to get folks to post in the correct section, but when stuff that IS in the correct section gets moved even those of us who have been around for a long time start to get frustrated.

This is not new to the recall either. I honestly cannot remember the thread, but I had a very similar thing happen to a thread I started not long ago. It was in the correct section & solely based on the title, it got moved to the wrong section where it got lost in the shuffle.

Come on guys, let's all take a collective deep breath & try not to be so move the thread happy as to make a bad situation worse.

Rant over. Now you can return to your regularly scheduled moderation.

What recall, this is the first I've heard of it.

I see the problem. Coming up with a solution is the hard part.

Do you happen to remember the title? I think it was "more recalls"

No, silly. The movie is called TOTAL RECALL.

and afterwards, there is, of course, no recollection of the situation.

So I don't know what y'all are talking about.

(it wasn't me...lol)
