Cool! I just got the text from my dealer, the car is ready for pickup. So, to everyone who is waiting...it appears things are moving now with the number of deliveries occurring today.

Stopped at the dealer today, they said I should have keys tomorrow. Not holding my breath...

anyone have a side view pic of where the switchblade key used to be? Is that a functioning button to nowhere now at the end of the fob?

I just drove home my black 1LS. My dealer had to purchase from another dealer and was able to do so today since the stop delivery was lifted. I still have both factory FOB' s, but it kind of looks like they just shaved the metal key part down 1/16 of an inch. No separate key, no separate FOB, same factory issue. I tried to purchase on Black Recall Friday 2 weeks ago as well, the wait sucked, but as a first time owner of a brand new car, I couldn't be more happy. Hang in there people, more and more 2014's are being driven off the lots now.

Have been watching this thread since I bought my Camaro on 6/14 and couldn't bring it home due to the recall. I was super disappointed I couldn't bring my first Camaro home after signing papers. I called my dealer today and was told that they received the new keys today. Will be able to get my car as early as tomorrow and as late as Monday. I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow. Good luck to everyone else waiting as well!

Congrats to everyone that took delivery today. I too was a lucky one!!

They only cut one key currently and they will call when the other key is ready.
Salesman said there is basically about a one week turn around on getting keys.
So if you purchased today don't expect to take delivery for a week. I still dont understand why some of you have been waiting 2 weeks. Well anyway meet Stella
