No valet for me, especially with a 6 speed.

LOL .... that sucks big time...

Anytime I have to use valet, I pay them and self park it. I don't let anyone but the wife touch my ZL1 and that's even got me nervous.

Absolutely no way any valet is ever going to touch my baby!

It isn't often that I come across a valet situation... but it bugs me when I do, especially when there is no option of parking the thing myself. Feels sort of like letting some other dude have my wife... just for a little bit.

And, it's inconvenient as hell... like, say, at a hotel, because for damn sure, after the car vanishes, we'll need some thing out of it. I'm not sending the valet to go rummage through the trunk or the glove box or the console or under the seat to recover some item, so I gotta have the valet retrieve the whole damn car.

When I go out to the parking lot to get into my car, I want it right now... not in a few minutes, after some guy finds it, and drives it over to me.

I don't like having to "tip" some guy a few dollars to do something that I would much rather be doing myself. That is illogical to me, but I know... tipping is how it's done.

Oh, and sometimes the valet screws up, and mashes the long pedal all the way to the floor, thinking/ wishing/ dreaming that he's stomping on the brake pedal, causing the car to collide with other cars, pedestrians, and even structures. Screw that. If anybody is going to crash my car, it'd better be me.

Sure, valet parking seems snooty and upper- crust, but this filthy unwashed redneck (with the immaculate car that doesn't tolerate careless foot prints) doesn't like it at all... way out of my element and comfort zone.

The Stingray has a valet mode....

Locks the car in V4 engine mode.

Doesnt matter, its still his car and he cares about it. Hell he probably cares more about his Camaro than the lambo owners does.

Even if I was driving an '82 Citation with one oversized off- road tire, plywood for the rear- quarter window, a back seat filled with Doritos bags and candy wrappers, and duct tape holding the hood down, I still wouldn't want a valet parking my car.
