Nice car, but if you are worried about reliability, a BMW seems like an odd choice. Not the best and very expensive to fix. Either way, congratulations on getting the ride you have been dreaming about!

Had an 04 M3 and GOD! I loved the car! 2 year corporate lease and 710$ month (LOL at that company!) it was just a point and shoot car! loved it and the blue I got was BEAUTIFUL! honestly I'd lease one but long term I'd throw a flag or two up I had some tranny problems (User launch issues LOL)

Thanks rayhawk: Yeah, I am scared of this car reliability wise - but dream car trumped logic on this one! Plus, BMW Full warranty to 100k miles, so if it breaks, it is their problem - just like at the Chevrolet dealer!

And for those of you who are telling me to enjoy my 4-door sedan just like all the others on the road: Think of the M5 as the COPO of the 5-series line. These are unique and built to order - just like the COPO cars were. I bought it not to brag and show off, but because it is unique and I love to drive unique cars. I love ALL cars and can find something interesting in almost every car on the road (except Toyotas - they just never light my fire in any way shape or form) One poster has a Cobalt SC that was telling me what a POS BMW's are...that is fine, his opinion. I look at things differently: The Cobalt SC and Turbo cars are AWESOME cars and get great power out of a 4 cylinder. I don't look at you and say "Nice economy car!"

This is a Camaro forum, I understand that my buying a German car will rub some the wrong way, but in the end, it is a PERFORMANCE CAR forum and most of us should respect performance cars for what they are, no matter who made them (Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet - BMW.) My heart is STILL with the Camaro, and when this one goes away - the SS I have dreamt about will be in my garage.

And you should all be very happy with your choice of a Camaro - for the same money I spent on a USED BMW you guys have 400/426 horses and a sexy assed car to boot! Like I said, the 'dream car' trumped my logic, and I am happy driving the dream...for now.
