Adding more power isn't the best way to go about fixing this. 113mph from a 530rwhp is way off. Figure out why and address that.
My wife's 380rwhp mustang traps 114-115mph at 2500ft above sea level. A supercharged camaro should be well into the 120s.

It's your tires. I'm running the e-force on a Ls3. Stock cam stock exhaust no cai canned tune That comes with the e-force. 491 on a Mustang dyno
Traction is key On a newly paved road you can see strips when launching right up till the beginning of 3rd.. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Get a real tune, by a professional. If you're using the Edelbrock canned tune with an ls9 cam, the car isnt running right.

Domchevelle, does your car feel faster on the street? For me, traction was an issue 1st thru 2nd and it never felt like it was at full power. I tried it a few times with traction control on and off, trap speed was pretty much the same. I was expecting to be in the 120mph range. I do plan on talking to the tuner about this and see what he says.

After installing my E-Force and using the tuner from Edelbrock, I had it dyno tuned, it was running lean and out of fuel with LT headers. I installed a ZL1 fuel pump and 72# injectors and all is well now.

I can help you get your car running to its full potential. I can give you advice on where the weaknesses are and address them. The tune that is on the SCT now from Edelbrock is not correct for your combination and should not be used for racing. I can provide you with Custom tuning using your current Edelbrock SCT Tuner to receive and load custom tunes to your car, no need to buy another tuning solution. Tunes are sent and received over email. Some areas of concern with your combination are fuel pump and injector size and proper pulley size. Feel free to give me a call or email me and I will help you. Ted.

yes...it is 100% a tune issue. The edelbrock tune is for their blower on a stock motor.

Dominic,
I am running the same Eforce and LS9 cam. You need a custom tune first to fix your trap speed. Dropping your tire pressure for the track down to 25 PSI would help get you out of the hole better. It worked for me. After I dropped the tire pressure, the times improved so much they now require me to wear a helmet. |

[QUOTE=I also say traction. 500rwhp and pzeros isn't going anywhere fast.[/QUOTE]
I agree 100% I can tell you from experience that the stock tires are just going to spin half way down the track.

YUP.. then he's going to need a clutch with better tires... All in all if the car is running right you should of saw close to the same numbers from loss of traction but a higher mph.. That's what I saw after I got mine installed. Basically once you gain traction you make up a little time since you putting more down.. I put on some tires that hooked and tore the clutch up the first time.. GL
