Come join the Drag fun this Wednesday at Brainerd MN Raceway!

Come join the fun - DRAG RACE YOUR CAR - this Wednesday at Brainerd Raceway. Only costs $25 to race, lot of cars to watch, all you need is a helmet! I hardly ever see other Camaros' there, what the heck? I know you are out there! It's only about a two hour drive from the Twin Cities so no excuses!

Hey! I attended Powercruise last summer and had a blast! Brought my SS out and ran a good 20 laps in the open lap sessions. I missed out on the fun this year due to the fact that I am deployed to the desert. How did it turn out??

Oh its always a good time. Lots of bone stock cars, motorcycles, turbo's and S/C's of all kinds. I was hoping to break 12 seconds, but only got to 12.03. Next drag night is Sept. 2nd. I'll go back and try again!

Are there any other days of the year where we can run laps on race tracks in MN?

Rock Falls is about the same distance from the TC area...Haven't been to Brainerd, usually go to RF, potentially going to Cedar Falls later this year.

Been as fast as 11.83@118.8, should come down when the good air returns and my Jannetty tune.

BIR has three more full track days this year, they are within the performance driving school days. 9/14, 9/28, 10/5.

One more drag day, 9/2. I'll be there!

They prep the track with - I don't know what its called - a tractor that has a line of large tires, a tire rotator I think. And they spray it down with some sort of chemical.

There are usually about 50 - 100 cars there, depends a lot on the weather. Forecast is for 89 this Wednesday, if it hits that I'm not going.

Here is a pic of me waiting in line to run.
