The S4 has the capabilities of wireless charging, it just needs the ribbon coil attached. if you open the rear cover you will see a place for the wireless charger. you can buy this part on ebay for under $10 and it just pops right in. I put it on mine. also don't waste 40-50 on the samsung charger pad, get the $5.00 ones from ebay (china) it might take 10 days to ship but sure worth the savings |

Well folks......one little thing that y'all are forgetting......all of the outlets (USB'S AND LIGHTER PORTS) have ZERO power going to them when your car is turned OFF. Sure its nice to be able to charge your phone as your drive down the road.....but what happens when you are at an all day event and your phone starts going dead....its quite nice to go back to your car and charge it up WITHOUT having to have your car running. my older FORD trucks outlets were powered up when the truck was not running so I could charge my phone when I was at a meet if necessary and not have to run it to do so.
SO that is something to consider, is to have it available to charge your phone when the car isn't running.
