I had the stock clutch in and it made a noise and didn't want to shift smooth
kinda did a grind thing 1st ---replaced tranny fluid it did help
2nd ---replaced clutch and found the noise, is one of the springs in clutch was broke and made a rattle noise ----The ginding was the clutch
3rd installed a new Monster twin disk LT1-R and it made a world of diff
could shift at 7000 rpm with my pinky and gears just slide right in
no -- more grinding best clutch i ever owned

ps 1lE was great but now own a caddy CTS-V auto HAVE CLUTCH for sell
