So, I have a question. I bought the struts/shocks, and I'll be getting lighter 19" wheels eventually to pair with these. I may not install the shocks/struts until then so I can get a more balanced package to what GM designed for.

Anyways, I'm going to at least try to get swaybars that more match the system. The 2 part numbers I found for front and rear swaybars for the Z/28 are:

22842517: Front
22812943: Rear

Does anyone know how these will fit in my 2013 SS? Or if they'll even fit at all? I've looked at a few online retailers, and they show conflicting/different fitments. If they do fit, will I need other stuff (such as the mounts, endlinks, etc)?

If they don't fit, do I need something to adapt them to fit maybe?

I know the Z28 swaybars are much lighter/softer than the SS and also 1LE swaybars, which is why I don't want to run the SS swaybars with the Z28 shocks/struts.

Z/28 sways are direct fit, and they also use the very same endlinks as what my 1LE came with.

Ok thanks. The question I had is if the bar diameters are different, I would need new mounts right? Or do the item numbers I listed come with mounts?

My sways came with their mounts already on them, but just so you know, I bought the whole suspension kit, in case it makes any difference.

For a 1LE, besides the bars, are there any other Z28 components do you feel are a must. If I can get away with just the bars I will. Not real excited about dropping the exhaust and cradle if I don't have to. Or am I wrong to assume that?

Front bar is the same as the ZL1, part #22842517, about $100
The bushing part # is 20942228, need 2 of those about $9-10 each
We can reuse the bushing mounts.

I was able to install the whole Z/28 kit without dropping anything. I merely lowered the rear subframe to get access to the top bolt for the top (rear) control arms, and also the driver side(?) bolt of the trailing arm. The rest could all be done without having to drop/lower anything besides tires.

Honestly, I don't think anything else is crucial beyond the shocks and the sways. It will work very well with these components, and even better with the addition of others, but you hit the point of diminishing returns, especially if you've already upgraded some of the bushings on your car with stiffer ones.

The bar will come with the bushings and clamps on it.
