In regards to the drop in sales for GM. I honestly believe its actually the lack of model variety and good looks. Other than the new Impala, Colorado, and corvette (maybe the 6th Gen Camaro), the rest of GMs lineup is BORING. And to go along with the boring looks comes GM's BORING color pallet for cars. Now I know that my Camaro is on the more extreme side for color selection, however, when you drive onto a Dealer lot and almost fall asleep walking down the new car lines, that says something. "CONGRATS on your new car! Your color choices are Silver, Beige, Black, White, Beige#2, Burgundy, and Navy Blue" In terms of variety, all new models share the same grill shape, same body creases and even some have the same taillights lol. New for 2017 though I believe their coming out with a Beige#3 for those of you that are feeling adventurous.

Did we ever find out the resolution with the catch can? I mean dude comes on here writes a novel, sign a petition, donated money, and Stacey pickets out front of GM.

GM is probably like any other employer, blame the sales force instead of management.

I think they are spending too much on advertising. When I am watching tv I see the same truck commercial or malibu commercial every 5 minutes. Even if they don't pay any extra for all the air time it is overkill. Dodge is doing the same thing with the chargers and challengers. I mean I haven't ever seen a Camaro commercial and they still sell. At least 5th gens did.

unfortunately, the catch can ordeal is not enough to deter me from purchasing another GM. For one, it is basically the essential rule to modifying your car, you risk the possibility of voiding the warranty whether it be a muffler, radio, or a catch can (as they have demonstrated)
Don't take this as me agreeing with GM denying the warranty, i still think that sucks, but i'm not surprised at the same time. I have owned several GM vehicles, none with an issue in the warranty or reliability department. Do i know they would jump at first chance to screw me? yes, but in retrospect, name a single manufacture that wouldn't attempt it.

Did you even bother to read why sales were down? GM slashed fleet sales this month, the largest cut since they established the 20% fleet guideline.
All this means is you'll have a more difficult time getting into a GM vehicle at the rental counter now but the company is making money hand over fist on retail sales. Quote:
Nothing at all. She's doing a fantastic job. Easily the strongest product lineup in decades, plus she got the company through the ignition switch fiasco relatively well. She deserves every cent.
