I did reset it. Also, I am quite gentle in the city because I live in a college town and it is swarming with cops.

How much time do you spend idling with the A/C on? That's big killer for MPG.

do you expect a muscle car to handle good at all? no. but the camaro does. do you expect muscle cars to have bluetooth? heated seats? power sunroofs? he was saying that compared to most V6s he is getting worse, there are people out there who are getting better than the advertised mpg. most are getting right at it.

My 2SS gets around 12-to high 14's. Mostly city driving. This is manually calculated.

Did I say I bought it for the MPG? No. I never said I was disappointed with the car, I LOVE the car, and the MPG doesn't change that. I am saying I am disappointed with the MPG because it is strangely lower than what it should be compared to what others are getting.

I get 24-25 on the highway with my 2SS on a 100 mile trip, which is better than my Equinox AWD. I only caluclate it on the HWY.
I do not do an average, as I am pushing it way to much locally (feel the take off). traction off, up to 120 etc.....etc..... |

No offense but there are plenty of posts from people that are happy with the MPG they are getting with both the v6 and v8. I have read numerous posts of meeting or exceeding the EPA estimates, especially for hwy numbers.

I wish I could find the post/thread again, but somebody had mentioned that it also takes into account the "Trip" mileage into the calculation of MPG. Try resetting both Trip calculators and see if that helps any. I don't guarantee results, but it's worth a shot right?

OP is not complaining the he isn't getting mfr stated fuel efficiency. He's complaining that he's getting 14.5 mpg with his V6 as compared to others like me, who are averaging 22-23 mpg. with the same engine.

I get 22 to 24mpg going 10 miles back and forth to work. I got 31.5 going to the NEOCC show and 32.7 mpg going home. It was 106 miles on I-76 and I-80. If I calculate it out with calculator it is almost always .5 to 2 mpg higher than the car figures it. I have 5600 miles on my 2LT.
