Great point extra year on warranty is a win from my point of view :-)

I have not heard back from PAC on my issue. I'm hoping they address this and not decide to ignore it. From your comments I'm assuming these amplifiers can be purchased elsewhere?

Hallo,

my cmx chime module has arrived. Now i will install it under the center speaker in the dash board. Then all works fine. My TPMS now is working. With Scosche it was failing. The hazard button is not a good construction, but it works.

Antennae amplifiers can be purchased at many places. I just looked around until I found something I liked. from memory, I had to order but got it off Amazon using Amazon Prime and had it quick.

anyone know if you can just reuse the faceplate that's on my 2014 as it already has the wide opening for the mylink and that way would not have to swap over the knobs

I did some searching and found one with the correct Fark connector to make the connection to the factory antenna wire. Right now work has me out of town so Ive contacted Phastek to handle it for me as PAC is not responding. If that brings no resolution then I will order a replacement. Their not expensive but my mindset is that everything should work from the start. I'm sure it's just a fluke and not their fault.

No, the screen on the Mylink faceplate is not part of the actual Mylink headunit, so you can't just pull it out and throw a different HU in. The link above provided by opossum has a bunch of pictures of what the Mylink Faceplate looks like when its off, and what the back of it looks like when you have to take it apart to remove the knobs.

The right and left views allow you to see right and left down the road when at an intersection.
Is the camera located on the top center or bottom center of the grill? Any pictures of what it looks like on the new radio with the camera on?

Thanks..

I have read your previous posts in this thread, and I understand that you have connected your head unit to your new amp directly (with rca cables I guess).

I did the same in my car, with a metra kit, and I have lost all car generated sounds: chime, back up parking sensor and so on. The reason seems to be coming from the mylink unit swap, as it gets these information from the BCM I guess.

Does this new kit retain these sounds in your case? And if so, how does it work?

THANK YOU

Called Phastek today who contacted PAC. A new amplifier is on the way. Thats what I call great service.
