How early are we talking here for C&C? It sooooounds like it would be pretty early for me. I haven't seen my ECC peeps in a while so I'd like to hang out with y'all soon but probably won't be able to swing over for that.

I have some news to share while I'm here at least. I have purchased my first house! It's actually closer to my office on the SE side of Tallahassee. 3/2, detached, built in 2012 and it has a garage (one car but still)! I'm surrounded by boxes and Home Depot pretty much knows me now.

Regarding the car, it has been at Dale Jr. Chevy for the last week and I'm driving an Equinox now (handy, considering the Home Depot runs). It's in for the transmission. Under steady cruising with light acceleration it would often feel like you were driving over rumble strips and shifts would be sloppy on occasion. Found a thread on the topic and took it in. First attempt was to flush the trans several times but I was told yesterday that didn't fix it completely and they'll try again but might have to order a torque converter. So yeah, that's fun.

Ok so who would be up for a M&G in Crestview and do a cruise up thru the blackwater forest and then have lunch in the Texas Road house in Millton FL It would be 8 July 2017 and meet at the old, closed Ryans in Crestview. OK so whos up. Let me know and I will do it.

For those than want to go to C&C, drive into the parking lot at Panera Bread in Panama City Beach (Pier Park) and park on the back row near the first Camaro you see. It starts at 7:00 and ends around 10:00. Easy access and departure, come and go as you please. People are great, the cars are not what you usually see at the evening cruises, and that first coffee helps at lot with the early start. It does not matter what car you bring (ECC basic rule). We can do a drive to Destin and have lunch after or whatever. I'm obviously not a big planner.

I have them, but couldn't make C & C....had to meet my mom in Dothan at 10 am.

Sounds awesome! But I can't personally do that date....have a granddaughter's birthday party, and a dear friend's wedding that afternoon.

However, if that is the date that will work, I can get it set up on FB....just give me the word. It might help to send out private messages to some of our regulars. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like folks are visiting this page too often anymore, and that weekend is pretty close
