Beechfront I'm in Morganville, NJ. Let me know if you need any info. I'm taking it one step at a time since this will be my first restoration and pro-touring build. I have a Chassisworks front subframe with 14" 6 piston front brakes and I just ordered the Heidts IRS rear suspension. I'm using the LSA out of a 15' ZL1 and TR6060

Joeko, you should document your build over at LS1Tech in the Conversions section. I would like to see how you do it. There is a guy on there already who has done your swap but used almost everything out of a ZL1. My 68 conversion is over there as well, but I went with an LS1 and Art Morrison sub.

ZL1 TBS, could you send me a link to the LS1 forum where the guy did the build from a ZL1? I def will document the build, was thinking to do it at pro-touring.com but I wanted to get more done with my project before I start posting. Right now I just have a shell with a front sub

Utilizing CTS-V pump module will allow you to go close to 750 rwhp on 93, if you go to 850 injectors (1050's are a better option, though).
Talk with Vaporworx, Carl is awesome. I've done plenty of LSA's in CTS-V's. A mild cam really helps, pulleys help, but adds a lot of heat, so make sure you're covered there. Ethanol, big demand on fuel supply, but another 60-100 hp possible. |
