I daily drive my ZL1 in the North East, Maine. I have had too many cars where I parked them from November to April. What fun is that? 650 HP in the Snow. What is not to love! I had the car Xpel'ed to protect it. I plan to use it.
We had our first light snow yesterday and I experimented with my 19" Michelin Alpin's. They were great for the light stuff even on an incline. Once we have a few inches, we will see, but I am hopeful. Good snow tires are the key. The summer tires are downright dangerous at the cold temps we get up here. I love racing and am very used to modulating the throttle to accommodate conditions. I believe the power of the car is a non-factor if you are smart. At low throttle, the ZL1 operates like just about any other rear-wheel drive car. It has heated seats, a heated steering wheel, smart stability control. It is certainly better than the 70's, 80's and 90's cars I drove in the winter. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/attach...1&d=1510670860

I daily drive a chevy volt, I drive 35k miles a year for business alone. The ZL1 is for weekends, dates, and late night gym runs!
Just for fun I did a comparison on annual gas costs for each car Car 1[ZL1] costs $13,338.89 to go 35000 miles. Car 2 [VOLT] costs $1,480.20 to go 35000 miles.

Daily driver here in Houston where my average speed is 25 mph. I still find a few short sections of road everyday where I open it up....heh heh but I look forward to driving every day, can't say that with my suburban!
