There is a ad on the h]omepage for camaro5.com
That displays an electric supercharger for 169.99 ?

Has anybody installed this ?

What exactly is this ?

Would you buy it if you where in the area
Of the company that makes this product ?

DONT DO IT. the fan can brake and fly down the intake right into the cylinder. its a scam dont fall for it.

By the pic on their website, I would say this may be good for supercharging which ever air conditioning vent it is mounted on...

I wonder why?
The subject of this has been brought up in countless muscle car magazines. To be effective an electric supercharging system would require so many batteries in addition to the electrical system in your car to even work efficiently. The weight of the batteries alone would negate any performance gains you have managed to pull from the now smoking electric motor. If anything this system would be so inefficient your motor would be pulling against the fan causing it to spin faster thus burning out the electric motors bearings and seizing it altogether. You now have a useless piece of crap stuck in your intake and restricting airflow which over time would lean out your motor and lead to detonation. Congrats you spent $200 to effectively blow up your motor. Quite frankly, I find this whole concept laughable.

do a search, a v6 guy already tried one and when it blew his engine up from parts of it getting sucked into his engine ,, he took it in for warranty work at his dealer "denied!"
