Humbling being back in the Focus huh? I feel the same when I get in my little cybergreen "Kermit" Beetle and drive to work. Camaro has another definition: "Escape!"

Your cars best photo angle???

I love this angle because it really shows the color change in the light. So rich. And, it is the last thing a Mustang sees as you pull away from it.

Seriously, I don't think there is a bad angle or line in this car. I wouldn't change a darn thing except perhaps add a Z-28 to the collection!

DOCUMENTATION AND STICKERS

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...56#post2650856

You will find at the thread above (posts 169-171) photographic records for what came with Orange Krate upon receipt at dealer.

If anyone got more from Chevrolet in their car then what I received, I would be interested in knowing what it is. I tried to capture every tidbit for posterity.

(I would say something about Anal Retentive but I don't know where that might go... so I won't say it!)

Now that is funny! LOL Thanks I needed that laugh. You would think we were living in Washington State here in So Cal. It has been foggy, cloudy, overcast and now rainy for a week!!! DANG IT!! Too cold to wax the car even in the garage! Time to pipe some heat into it!!!

Orange Krate - 400 miles today

After record breaking rain... mud everywhere, Californians driving like jerks... I ventured forth in Orange Krate yesterday. Today I started some detailing then picked up my best friend and drove to my brother's house to show him the car. I was going to drive to the beach and take some photos but my friend had to get back home... after all, it is Christmas Eve! But it doesn't matter what day it is when it comes to driving a Camaro! Its all good.

I can feel the car getting stronger with each mile driven. I can't wait to change the fluids and get the new lube in the rear differential and gearbox. That Z-28 suspension package is really working for me. Oh you guys didnt order that? HA HA HA just pulling your leg!

I want to get a new cell phone but am perplexed over what to buy. Anyone have any thoughts as to what works well with these Camaros? I paired it to my work Blackberry but I like the thought of a Droid or I-phone. Choices!

Most important message here is...
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU CAMARO OWNERS AND CAM 5 READERS! YOU ARE A SPECIAL BUNCH!

WARM WISHES FROM JIM AND ERICA

All GOOD here Scottish!

I am a rare breed...a true 50+ year native Californian. I am use to our 4 seasons: Fire, Floods, Earthquakes and Riots!

We are in good shape here in Simi Valley. It is California's own little nervana. I went out today in the 70 degree sunshine and basked in the sun for awhile. It is suppose to cloud up and start raining again tomorrow night. I hope to at least get out of the house tomorrow with my camera and take a few shots! I am biting at the bit to take outdoor shots of Orange Krate! I rather suspect we shall wake up with a red sky...you know the old addage "red sky in the morning sailors warning, red sky at night sailors delight" , always holds true here. If it is a red sky I would love to capture Orange Krate against those colors!

Is it just me or are you new Camaro owners experiencing any BMWs and other cars racing up alongside and trying to tempt you into a race? In the last 2 days I have had no less than half a dozen different cars run up on me at 80 MPH and try and get me to race down the freeway with them!?!? Whats up with that? Here I am just putting along doing my thing listening to the XM radio and being an old man... and here comes Generation X driving a Ricer or whatever, acting all cocky! I just ignore them and let them race on by. Kind of funny really.

Interesting Photo

Hey Scottish I thought about your screen name when I saw this! The drinking stool photo was online and with a little photoshop phrase change... bingo! It originally said "...cause they wear kilts." I rather like the new version.
