Pypes Catback VS Doug Thorley CB

Heres my problem. My budget is under $500. I want an good exhaust that exhibits no (or very little) drone on the highway but, sounds tough while cruising around town. I thought about a custom magnaflow exhaust but it need to be welded in. I dont know how the local welders are and I would only be saving $100-$150 doing it this way. The pypes system sounded good on a youtube video but, I want to hear from you guys first. I really dont want an axleback. BTW Ive got an LS3 engine manual trans. Thanks

We sell both and I can tell you that the DT is a more "popular" seller.

The design of the system, x-pipe, True-Flow Mufflers and Tips look and perform far better than the Pypes.

We still have the DT setup on 4 of our local cars. One LS3, one V6 car, one TT LS3, and one TT L99 car.

Still waiting for any complaints from any one of our DT Catback customers.

We've sold over 40 of em compared to the 7 or 8 Pypes systems.

Lemme know if you have any questions about em and you can also check out out YouTube Channel for more videos and sound clips.

Thanks!
