Really really tough week

:(:(over the last few days its been tough for family & friends around here, car lovers & my personally family.

On thurs I found out that one of the local Corvette guys passed away who had bone cancer, Then I find out that one of the Local Camaro club )not our clubS) former president passed away after having a heart attack.
The same Night I found out that my brother in law was in a car wreck earlier in the week (he called seeing if we had stuff for his new car lol) He got a 97 v6 Vert 6sp & wanted a bra for it, all i have is 3rd gen bras & a 95 mustang bra


today I found out that my cousin who I adored as a child, was involved in a car wreck, Do not know the details I dont know if he was driving or what, but they dont know if he will make it, if he does he will be brain dead( I hope for his family sake & mine that he dosnt make it, I know it sounds harsh but if hes brain dead then hes not him):(:(

He lives down in cali so I cant get to where hes at & Dan is leaving for a couple weeks at the end of the week. Plus I dont even know where he is at down in cali. I think Sac but not sure.

It must be a bad couple of weeks. The husband of a good friend died of cancer, a former co-worker died of brain cancer and a customer died suddenly and unexpectedly. So I know exactly what you mean Iroc.

BTW, this has been a great reminder that life is short. You never know when your time is up. So live your life to the fullest. Treat everyone with respect. Tell those that you love that you love them every chance you get.

I know it seems like things can't get worse. There are a lot of people out here that do care about you and want you to be okay. I'm sure that just about any of us would rise to the occasion if we could do anything for you. We're a community, and you are a part of it. We wish you and yours the best.

thanks you guys, the waiting is hard, & not knowing is even harder.

This guy was my best friend & let me listen to Rock & roll for the first time (since we werent allowed to listen to rock in the house) he used to play his KISS Records (Yes RECORDS) down in the basement & I wold come down & listen to them with him. He allowed me to watch Dukes of hazzards & Happy days, Fonz was my second hero, When my mom would have a cow.

He joined the navy
When my dog died, he was on the phone & kept me on the phone LONG distance, While my dad went looking for my dog & the dog that killed him.

Then when We introduced him to his wife ( we my sister in law & I lol, Dragged her to the phone to talk to him) I was part of their wedding, & when they finally moved here when he got out, they allowed me to live with them when things went to CHIT around my own home (my mom had married a sex offender & I couldnt live at the house)

When I would pretend to be sick because I didnt want to go to school, he banned me from my horse, until I proved I was better, I took care of his 3 daughters & he taught me how to cook & do dishes right lol.
Then things got worse, my step father (BKA the man the witch married) decided he didnt like my now brother in law, & refused to allow me to go to horse shows if he was around, My Earl stood in front of everyone at the horse show & told TMWM & everyone that he didnt want me to hang out with them because of the fact that he wanted the Innocent girl for himself, since he was a SO.

That was the last time I heard from them until a couple years ago, we managed to get together once before he went back to Cali,He wanted to make sure I marred a man that would take care of me & my kids (just like a father). & then we lost contact with each other again.

I havent seen the 3 girls since the late 80s & hope they knew what their father did for someone else besides them.

My condolences, Iroc! One of those misfortunate things life throws at you as if to test how strong you are. For now no words from anyone can make you feel better, but believe me, it will get better, time does heal all wounds, it just takes time. I know, I lost a wife tens years ago. If there's anything we Camaro5 people can do, please let us know.

I found out a little bit more, He was walking across the street in Sac town & was hit by a speeding car & was thrown across 3 lanes Maybe more of traffic.
